Circulating water plant system of Viet Phap Steel Company

As one of the earliest invested and most modern color coated corrugated iron factories in Viet Nam, Viet Phap Steel plays the role of a leader in producing technique and sustainable production trends in the world. One of the prominence is the investment in installing the circulating water plant system with the cost of million dollars for producing purposes.

Viet Phap Steel Factory began to operate in 2004 in Dinh Vu Industrial Zone - Hai Phong Harbour with capacity up to 200.00 tonnes per year and color coating line with capacity of 160.000 tonnes per year. With the massive volume to meet the market demand, simultaneously, gas emission and disposing water  born after the producing process are issues being put on top of the list for resolving.
 


 

If there were a leak of waste (air and water), the surrounding environment would suffer. Vice Versa, lack of water supply for a gigantic operating system to prevent disruption is also a problem to take care of. The circulating water plant is invested and installed in order to tackle the above issue.

Meaning and conception of Circulating water plant

Model of circulating water plant is the water treatment system using a mechanical line, in which water cannot route out of the system in any mean. Waste water will be collected into a collecting area, where it will be retrieved, treated, and re-used many times over.  
 


 

Water for production purposes will be collected, treated and purified for later use. This intention is cost-efficient, neatly following the criteria for green factory, as well as sending a clear message about environmental friendliness to the community, which is the most current trend.
 


 

As the requirements from the factory, waster water from the production line will be treated and purify in order to re-put into the line. Hence, it is required to handle the physical and chemical standards to ensure the water is good enough before returning to the machines. Therefore, the circulating water plant must meet the criteria as follows:

- Waste water neutralization: because waste water will flow through the mechanical system, reservoirs, this results in the changing in pH of water (fluctuated in accordance to the period and steps of the process). In order to ensure the productivity and protect the engines, the need for neutralizing water is a must.

- Physical- Chemical Treatment: water purification is carried out by using several substances like alum or other mixtures used in water supply treatment system.

- Mud treatement: the amount of mud arisen from the water treatment process will be collected, compressed, dried, then burried.

Summary of Circulating water treatment in Factory

Waste water from the production line will be collected via a pipeline system and transported to the treatment center. From this point, waster water will gradually flow through several treatment steps and tanks. Each tank will have different function and mechanism. For example: the sedimentation tank will take out all debris and floating patterns, trash, dirt, and sand, which appear from the production line. Thanks to the sedimentation tank, water is purified partly and the large waste patterns will be first-handed separated.  

In addition to sedimentation tank, there are more tanks, naming neutralization tank (for pH level treatment), Mud compression tank, after treatment reservoir… This circulating water plant resembles a coating line or color coating line inside a fully operated factory, in which water will be in and out stably and with great quality guaranteed.
 


 

Besides, the water treatment will also be maintained, serviced, and carried out hygienic duties by assigned specialists for durability and endurance.

It can be seen that in each strategy, Viet Phap Steel are always navigated itself in building a closed production line, which is also environment friendly. Investing on a  circulating water treatment plant with is worth of million dollars. Viet Phap Steel has mastered the process of treating water after use, as well as purifying water for re-use purposes.
